A tour dedicated to the traditions of Friuli; from the orchards containing traditional varieties of apple, pear, cherry and plum trees; to the vineyards, to finish with the ancient cultivation of olive trees where 300 of autochthonous varieties such as “Bianchera”, “Grignano” and “Gorgazzo”, enable the production of an excellent olive oil.
A sensorial experience where the fragrance, taste and colours of the marvellous fruit will take you back in time to the tastes of the past that our grandparents could savour many years ago.
A pleasant stroll through the vineyards, olive groves and orchards with one of our expert guides who will explain the authentic methods of cultivation. At the end of the tour an enjoyable tasting of the local produce to relax your mind and body.
While sipping some good wine if you raise your eyes, you will be able to admire the vaulted ceilings, made up of nineteenth century pink tiles masterfully set one by one by skillful craftsmen. The tile grouts contain cloth cord, invisible to the naked eye, that prevents the mortar suffering the effects of gravity: the technique used back in the Middle Ages.
